Why did you choose Maine Maritime Academy?
Maine Maritime Academy was one of many great options I had, but visiting campus I enjoyed the atmosphere and kindness of all who I talked to. The environment promotes personal success and a tight-knit community that helps one another. Furthermore, the opportunities that graduates have in business are highly regarded at MMA and abroad. The new team is also something that I am very excited to be a part of, building traditions and creating a new force within the conference, and NCAA DIII.
What will be your legacy as a Maine Maritime swimmer?
My legacy will be one of building the team atmosphere, hard work, and doing my best to live up to the reputation of MMA Athletics.
Steve Peed Says...
I am tremendously excited Joshua will be joining us in Castine next year. His results speak for themselves regarding his ability, but equally as important is his willingness to commit to building a culture of excellence in Maine Maritime swimming. We talked about character and commitment to growing both individually and improving as a team with all of our prospective athletes. Joshua will prove to be a leader in that charge.
