WATERVILLE, Maine – Defending champion Maine Maritime Academy secures the top seed in the 2025 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Volleyball Tournament as the regular season came to a close Saturday afternoon.
The Mariners concluded the regular season with a perfect 8-0 conference record (19-8 overall). Joining Maine Maritime in the six-team tournament are No. 2 Husson University, who finished 7-1 in conference play (9-16 overall). The two will each host quarterfinals and semifinals matches.
SUNY Delhi (5-3 NAC, 6-22 overall) heads into the tournament as the No. 3 seed and will square off against No. 6 UMaine-Presque Isle (3-5 NAC, 7-14 overall) on Saturday, November 8 at host Husson University. No. 4 seed Thomas College, who ended their regular season 5-3 in conference play (8-15 overall), will travel to host Maine Maritime Academy to play No. 5 SUNY Cobleskill (4-4 NAC, 7-15 overall) in a quarterfinal match on November 8.
The 2025 NAC Women's Volleyball Tournament kicks off with quarterfinals and semifinals on Saturday, November 8 through Sunday, November 9 at the campuses of Maine Maritime Academy and Husson University. The NAC Championship match will be the following weekend on Saturday, November 15 at the highest remaining seed. Game times will be confirmed this Monday.
The winner of the 2025 NAC Championship will secure the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA DIII Women's Volleyball Tournament, set to begin on Thursday, November 20. The complete NCAA Tournament bracket will be unveiled during a live selection show on NCAA.com on Monday, November 17.
