Maine Maritime Academy

Mikayla Charters, a five-year member of the Maine Maritime Academy women's basketball team, began the Professional Development Program at General Dynamics Bath Iron Works in July. Charters, a two-time North Atlantic Conference (NAC) All-Tournament Team selection, will complete a set of core program rotations and a four-month work assignments that cover the most critical aspects of the shipbuilding process, over the course of a two-year period.
