The intramural sports program at Maine Maritime Academy encourages participation in a fun and semi-competitive environment. You do not need to be a star athlete to participate.Â

General Policy Â
Intramural sports leagues are open to all students, faculty, and staff, interested in participating in any of the programs offered throughout the academic year. To be an eligible participant, individuals must submit the Waiver/Release of Liability Form (PDF) as well as be listed on their team's Intramural Team Registration Form.  Â
Policy for Teams, Varsity Athletes & Club Sport Athletes
Varsity Athletes: Current, in-season varsity athletes are ineligible to participate as a member of a team in the intramural sport for which they are a varsity member. Varsity and club athletes may not participate on a team that includes coaches. Each intramural team is limited to a designated maximum number of varsity athletes. In 5v5 match ups, the cap is set at two varsity players, while in 3v3 games, only one varsity player is allowed.
Club Sport Athletes: Current in-season club sports athletes are eligible to participate in Intramural Sports with limited restrictions.
The Intramural Director reserves the right to evaluate and change any league policy at anytime, if deemed necessary. Â
