Registration for the 2025 "Texas" Mariner Classic has officially opened. The Maine Maritime athletic department is excited to announce that the 15th Annual Mariner Classic Golf Tournament -- "Texas style" -- will be held at the The Woodlands Country Club Tournament Course this year on Monday, April 7, 2025.

"The Tournament Course is a world renowned course that has hosted a PGA event and is currently the host of the Insperity Invitational, which is part of the Champions Tour." said Tournament Director, Craig Dagan. "This is a great opportunity for our department and a chance for the alumni and maritime industry members in the gulf coast area to join us again in 2025."

"Maine Maritime Athletics is appreciative of all of the sponsors of this year's tournament," said MMA Athletic Director William Mottola. "We're excited to spend time with our sponsors and our alumni."

The Mariner Classic is a golf tournament that benefits the Maine Maritime Athletic Department and its student-athletes. Proceeds from the tournament are used to help provide the student-athletes at Maine Maritime Academy with a quality NCAA Division III experience. The generous support offered by all is very much appreciated, "It never ceases to amaze us how many friends of Mariner athletics we have return to our tournaments every year," said Dagan. "We are extremely grateful for all of the support provided, especially from the sponsors that have stepped up to make this event possible."
