Registration for the 2026 "Florida" Mariner Classic has officially opened. The Maine Maritime athletic department is excited to announce that the 2nd Annual Mariner Classic Golf Tournament -- will be held at the Plantation Preserve Golf Course & Club this year on Monday, May 11, 2026.

"Plantation Preserve Golf Course is a great course!" said Tournament Director, Craig Dagan. "This is our second year in Florida and we are thrilled to be sharing it with our alumni and friends in the southeastern part of the state."

"Maine Maritime Athletics is appreciative of all of the sponsors of this year's tournament," said MMA Athletic Director William Mottola. "We're excited to spend time with our sponsors and our alumni."

The Florida Mariner Classic is a golf tournament that benefits the Maine Maritime Athletic Department and will also raise money for scholarships at the Academy. The generous support offered by all is very much appreciated, "It never ceases to amaze us how many friends of Mariner athletics and Maine Maritime Academy show up to our tournaments every year. We hope that our second season in Florida is a huge success!" said Dagan. "We are extremely grateful for all of the support provided, especially from the sponsors that have stepped up to make this event possible."
