Max Barton, a four-year member of the Maine Maritime men's lacrosse program who graduated in April with a degree in Marine Engineering Technology, has secured a position with Crowley Maritime Corporation. Barton, a 2021 NEILA All-Academic Team selection, will serve as a Third Assistant Engineer aboard the Sunshine State, a 600-foot 331,000-barrel, double-hull oil and chemical tanker.
