Kaitlyn Reny, a four-year member and three-year captain of the women’s swimming & diving program, graduated in April 2022 with a degree in Marine Biology. Reny has been working as a Lobster Sampler for the Maine Department of Marine Resources since graduation, and has recently taken a job with the Maine Bureau of Public Health as a Marine Resource Specialist. She takes year-round water and shellfish samples, collects shoreline survey data, and evaluates, identifies, and documents point and non-point source pollution impacting Western Maine shellfish growing areas.
