Bowdoin, ME - MMA runner Matthew Methot (Portland, ME) finished
in 13th place out of 142 runners at the State Of Maine Cross
Country Championships hosted by Bowdoin College on Saturday.
Methot finished with a time of 26:50.37 for the 5 mile run.
Lucas Miller (Belfast, ME) finished in 60th place, Matthew Francis
(Belfast, ME) placed 96th, Evan Vashon (Waterville, ME) 102nd,
while Patrick Lindsey (Winthrop, ME) capped off the MMA scoring
with a 125th place finish.
Coby Horowitz won the individual state crown while the Polar
Bears from Bowdoin College captured the team title with a score of
23. The Mariners finished in 6th place with a score of 185. Bates
College, USM, Colby, and UNE rounded out the top five.
