Castine, ME - The Lyndon College Hornets defeated the Maine Maritime Academy Mariners 72-66 in a North Atlantic Conference match-up Saturday at Margaret Smith Gymnasium. Lyndon picks up their first NAC win of the year and their second overall after today's win.

Phil Warrick (Springfield, MA) and Rob Alers (Central Falls, RI) each scored 14 points while Antonio Mena (Central Falls, RI) chipped in with 12 points and eight rebounds to help Lyndon to the win. Jose Fortunato (Boston, MA) played well in the victory, scoring nine points while grabbing a team high 10 rebounds.

Paul Campbell (Camden, ME) had his finest game of the season for MMA scoring 32 points and grabbing 10 boards. Shawn Dostie (Bowdoinham, ME) scored 11 in the loss while Ben Russell (Farmington, ME) dished out a team high six assists.

With the win Lyndon improves to 2-11 overall and 1-1 in the NAC while MMA drops to 6-6 on the season and 1-1 in the NAC.
