MACHIAS, Maine – Maine Maritime Academy's volleyball team rolled up its tenth 3-0 sweep of the season, knocking off Maine-Machias 25-17, 25-15, 25-7. The Mariners improved to 11-1 on the season, while the Clippers slipped to 5-3.

Jennifer Dixon (Woodstock, Md.) funneled 23 assists to the attack. Sydney Robertson (Barnstead, N.H.) was on the receiving end of eight passes, while Chelsea Ward (Homer, Alaska) came up with seven kills. Robertson also posted a block.

Melissa Lail (Elizabeth, Colo.) and Betsy Trenckmann (La Veta, Colo.) each served up half a dozen aces, while Lauren Sakahara (Bellvue, Wash.) came up with 15 digs.

The Mariners return to action on Friday night when Maine-Fort Kent comes to Castine to kickoff Homecoming Weekend.
