CASTINE, MAINE--Maine Martime won its second straight game with a 3-0 win over Green Mountain Saturday in a North Atlantic Conference gameat Ritchie Field. The Mariners improved to 2-3-1 NAC and 5-7-1 overall while the Eagles fell to 0-12.

Annie Koensgen (Placitas, NM) put Maine Martime on the board midway through the first half when she netted a penalty kick to the right at 22:11. Koensgen later found Sarah Brocu (Hardwick, Vt.), who deposited the ball to the bottom left, early in the second half to give MM a 2-0 lead at the 67:44 mark. Caissie Nevala (Machiasport, Maine) scored the Mariners final goal 20 minutes later when stopped in front of the goal, turned, a fired a shot in the net.

Taylor O'Malley (Middletown, R.I.), who had one save, picked up the win in goal while Emma Lord took the loss for the Eagles.

The Mariners return to the pitch Sunday, 12 p.m., hosting Castleton.
