BANGOR, Maine  -- Taylor O'Malley (Middletown, R.I.) turned aside five of Husson's 12 shots in the contest, but the Eagles managed a 1-0 victory on an early goal in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) women's soccer on Saturday. The Eagles moved to 2-7 (2-0 NAC) on the season, while MMA fell to 2-6 (0-2 NAC).

Kelsey Brangiel netted the only marker of the game just 4:19 in to secure the win for Husson. Eagles' keeper, Jessica Poulin, stopped all four of Maine Maritime's shots to record the shutout.

Maine Maritime returns to action next Saturday at Lyndon State.
