WATERVILLE, Maine -- Maine Maritime Academy dropped a 73-45 decision to Colby iCollege n a non-conference men's basketball game Tuesday. The Mules improved to 6-10 overall while the Mariners fell to 4-12.

Andy Ball  led the Mariners with 17 points and six rebounds and Paul Campbell  added nine points and five assists.

Chris Hudnut scored 18 of his game-high 24 points in the first half and pulled down nine rebounds to lead the Colby College. 

With the Mules leading 11-8 with 13:02 to play, Colby went on an 11-0 run to pull away for a 22-8 margin. Longinoff had six of the 11 points.

Colby continued to pull away and led 37-18 at halftime. The Mules started the second half with an 8-0 run to make the score 45-18. 

The Mariners return to action Friday in a North Atlantic Conference at Husson. Tip off is 5:30 p.m.
