PORTLAND, Maine -- Maine Maritime's women's cross country team finished 51st, in a field of 53 teams, at the NCAA Division III Regionals Saturday at Southern Maine. Williams won the team race with four runners in the top 10 and six in the top 41.
Middlebury placed second followed by MIT, Tufts and Brandeis.
Williams senior Kaleigh Kenny topped the field of 371 by navigating the 6K course in 21:02.18.
Jessica Faltings was the top finisher for the Mariners with a 239th finish. She completed the course in 25:54.10.
Emily Fanning crossed in 28:21.73, Caroline Martin in 29:43.21,  Catherine Bailey finished in 32:16.25 and Alice Stenquist completed the course in 32:53.36. Gabrielle Wells also competed and crossed in 34:03.42.
