CASTINE, Maine -- Bekah Campbell and Mary Badeen both recorded double-doubles to lead Maine Maritime to a 76-39 win in a North Atlantic Conference women's basketball game Tuesday. The Mariners improved to 11-11, 8-7 NAC while the Terriers fell to 7-15, 5-11.

Campbell scored 22 points, and grabbed 13 rebounds and Badeen netted 12 with 10 boards. Casey Everest added 14 points and Leah Jackson pulled down 12 rebounds for Maine Maritime.

Megan Pelletier scored 13 and Katie McAllister added 10 for Thomas.

The Mariners broke a 9-9 deadlock early  in the first half with an 18-4 scoring run. Campbell scored seven in the run, Courtney DuFour six, Badeen three and Jackson two to put MMA ahead 27-13 with 3:56 left in the opening half. A pair of Campbell free throws with 39 seconds left gave the Mariners their largest lead, 40-17, with 39 seconds.

Badeen's layup early in the second half gave the Mariners a 53-21 with 16:56 left in the game. McAllister put Thomas within 26, 55-29, but that was as close as the Terriers would get.

Maine Maritime returns to action Friday, 7:30 p.m., at Lyndon State.
