Box Score LYNDON CENTER, Vt. -- Lyndon State knocked off Maine Maritime 95-64 in a North Atlantic Conference men's basketball game Friday. The Hornets improved to 12-12 overall, 11-6 NAC while the Mariners dropped to 4-19, 3-14.
Jason Hatch came off the bench to score a team-high 12 points for Maine Maritime and Nick Holt collected 10 points in a reserve role. Hatch and Logan Poirier grabbed a team-best six rebounds each.
Jason Gray led Lyndon with 18 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots while and George Carle added 13 points, nine rebounds and two steals. Devyn Baranauskas had 15 points and three assists for the Hornets David Johnson and Patrick Dunn chipped in 12 and 10 points respectively. Jose Fortunato dished out a game-high six assists in the contest to go along with eight points and six rebounds.
Maine Maritime returns to action Saturday, 1 p.m., at Johnson State.
