AUGUSTA, Maine -- Maine Maritime won its fifth-straight match with a 3-0 win over Maine-Machias Wednesday in a non-conference women's volleyball match. The Mariners also ran their sets winning streak to 15 in-a-row. Maine Maritime improved to 7-4.

The Mariners won 25-13, 25-22 and 25-13.

Sydney Robertson had a team-high 14 kills, while Melissa Lail and Gillian O'Neal each recorded nine kills. Betsy Trenckmann led Maine Maritime with five aces and seven digs and Samantha Tumolo posted 27 assists. Molly Marcotte and Tumolo both had six digs and O'Neal recorded five.

The Mariners return to action Saturday against Eastern Connecticut State, 2 p.m, at Southern Maine.
