WATERVILLE, Maine – Maine  Maritime picked up its first this season with a 3-2 win over Gordon in non-conference women's volleyball match Saturday at the Colby Invitational. The Mariners improved to 1-3, while Gordon fell to 3-2.

Maine Maritime won the first two games 25-18 and 25-23 before Gordon took the next two 25-23 and 27-25. The Mariners won the fifth 15-8.

Maine Maritime will host the Fourth Annual Maritime Classic with SUNY Maritime and Mass. Maritime Saturday.
