Box Score 2 CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime defeated the University of Maine at Machias on Wednesday night. The Mariners picked up their fifth win of the season in three sets; 25-3, 25-9, 25-8.  
Sydney Robertson (Barnstead, N.H.) moves into first place all-time, in total career blocks with 188.
 Leading the Mariners in game one was reigning NAC Defensive Player of the Week Gillian O'Neal (Burbank, Calif.) who had 19 kills. Betsy Trenckmann (La Veta, Colo.) added 22 assists and one kill, while Sydney Robertson recorded six kills, two service aces, and two digs.
The Clippers were led by Francesca Couture who recorded eight digs and one assist. Teammate Amanda Preston added four assists.
In game two the Mariners defeated the Clippers in three sets; 25-16, 25-6, 25-10, to earn their sixth win of the season.
Samantha Ryan (Los Angeles, Calif.) recorded a game-high 13 digs, while O'Neal added 12 digs, and game-high 14 kills. Robertson added 10 kills, four service aces, and six digs.
For the Clippers Hailey Lacey led the team with nine digs, and four kills.
Maine Maritime (6-7) will travel to Colby-Sawyer this Saturday to take on both Castleton and the hosts in their first North Atlantic Conference action of the season.
