CASTINE, Maine – Susana DeFrank (Temecula, Calif.) scored in the 67th minute to lead Maine Maritime Academy women's soccer to a 1-0 North Atlantic Conference Quarterfinal victory on Saturday night on Ritchie Field.

The Mariners outshot the Eagles 18-11, and landed seven shots on net to the Husson's two.

DeFrank, Makayla Lewis (Purcellville, Va.) and Emily Wyman (Brockton, Mass.) led the Mariners with two shots on goal each while Leah Hibbad recorded both of Husson's shots on net.

Maggie McConkey (Fryeburg, Maine) recorded two saves, in her program-record ninth shutout of the season, while Husson's keeper Kayla Gordon tallied six stops in net.

The Mariners improve to 10-7-1 overall, and advance to the NAC Semifinals on Tuesday, November 3 at Castleton University.
