HENNIKER, N.H. – Maine Maritime Academy men's cross country finished 4th among six teams on Sunday at the 5^th Annual Mayflower Kickoff Event, hosted by New England College. 

Zachary Kinsman (Lebanon, N.H.) finished 14^th out of 98 runners to lead the Mariners on the 5k course, with a time of 17:53. Chase Hughes (Yarmouth, Maine) placed 22^nd with a time of 18:21, followed by Anthony Amalfitano (Oakland, Maine) in 26th with a time of 18:38, Kyle Huston (Washburn, Maine) in 27^th with a time of 18:41 and Tristan Brown (Oqunquit, Maine) in 29th with a time of 18:42.

Fitchburg State University placed first overall with three runners in the top five, New England College finished 2^nd as a team, while Colby-Sawyer's Benjamin Bunnell won the race with a time of 16:15.
