DARTMOUTH, Mass – Maine Maritime Academy men's cross country placed 28th at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday afternoon, with a team score of 753.

The Mariners were once again led by Zachary Kinsman (Lebanon, N.H.), who finished 116th among the 242 runners. Kinsman finished the 8k course in a time of 28:06. Spencer Boonstra (Amston, Conn.) finished 156th overall with a time of 29:08, while teammate Josh Richards (Westbrook, Maine) was just behind him in 159th place with a time of 29:15. Victor Skorapa (Freeport, Maine) placed 179th and John Ramsey (Houlton, Maine) placed 191st to round out the top finishers for the Mariners.

American International claimed the overall team victory with four runners in the top 15 and a team score of 52, while American International's Mitchell Bryne was the top overall finisher with a time of 24:50.

The Mariners return to action next Saturday, September 24 at the Bowdoin Invitational II.
