WATERVILLE, Maine -- Maine Maritime Academy women's cross country competed in the non-team scoring Colby Invitational on Friday afternoon.
Charlette Bradley (Slidell, La.) led the Mariners in the 6k race, finishing 21st with a time of 32:41.17 just ahead of teammate Sierra James (Campton, N.H.) in 22nd. Jessica Lindsay (Limestone, Maine) finished 26th and Abigail L'Abbé (Topsham, Maine) placed 27th.
Unity College's Chris Milne was the top finisher in the 6k race with a time of 23:17.10.
In the 3k race, Julia Dillon (Norway, Maine) placed 31st to lead the Mariners, while Nicole Knudsen (Cape May, N.J.) finished 35th and Bradley placed 36th.
Colby College placed the top three runners in the 3k race, led by Keith Barnatchez who finished the course in 10:08.69 to place first.
Maine Maritime returns to action at the State of Maine Championships hosted by Bowdoin College next Saturday, October 14.
