NORTH DARMOUTH, Mass. – Zachary Kinsman (Lebanon, N.H.) led Maine Maritime Academy men's cross country to a 28th place team finish out of 40 teams on Saturday at the UMass.-Dartmouth Invitational.
Kinsman finished the 8K race with a time of 28:12.85 to finish 120th overall out of 315 runners. Brandon Goud (Wiscasset, Maine) placed 140th, followed closely by Cole Brundige (Bainbridge Island, Wash.) in 153rd and Aylen Wolf (Surry, Maine) in 170th. Alex Wicks (Woolwich, Maine) rounded out the top five finishers for the Mariners in 207th place.
Babson's Matthew Dynan was the top finisher with a time of 25:22.67 and UMass.-Lowell took the team victory with four runners in the top 20.
The Mariners return to action next weekend when they host the Mariner Invitational in Belfast at the Troy Howard Middle School on Saturday, September 23.
