Goud Leads Mariners at Bowdoin Invitational

BRUNSWICK, Maine – Maine Maritime Academy men's cross country placed sixth out of seven teams, with a team score of 168, on Saturday at the Bowdoin Invitational.

Brandon Goud (Wiscasset, Maine) completed the 8k course with a time of 28:41.9 to lead the Mariners among the 91 runners. Zachary Kinsman (Lebanon, N.H.) placed 34th, followed by Cole Brundige (Bainbridge Island, Wash.) in 41st and Sam Sewall (York, Maine) and Keenan Martin (Dixfield, Maine) in 50th and 51st respectively. 

Bowdoin College claimed the team victory, placing five runners in the top five, and Southern Maine's Chandler Vincent claimed the top spot with a time of 25:59.9.

The Mariners return to action next Friday, October 6 at the Colby College Invitational.
