DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Maine Maritime Academy swimming competed at the Louise Goodrum Invitational hosted by UMass-Dartmouth on Saturday.

Men's Meet Highlights:

• The relay team of Brad Tibbetts (Boothbay Harbor), Isaac Weaver (Lamoine, Maine), Joshua Roberts (Saco, Maine), and Jack Valleau (Liberty, Maine) placed third in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:47.28, while the relay team of John Gilpin (Portsmouth, R.I.), John Egger (Marion, Mass.), John Markillie (Richland Wash.), and Benjamin Mazgaj (Ellsworth, Maine) placed fifth with a time of 1:54.62
• Markillie placed fifth in the 200 yard free with a time of 1:58.29 and sixth in the 100 yard back with a time of 1:04.18
• Roberts placed second in the 50 yard back with a time of 27.18, while Weaver placed third with a time of 29.49
• Roberts placed third in the 50 yard free with a time of 24.20 and fifth in both the 50 yard breast (32.01) and the 50 yard fly (26.56)
• Valleau placed third in the 100 yard fly with a time of 1:00.39 and eighth in the 100 yard breast with a time of 1:18.40
• Roberts placed fourth in the 100 yard free with a time of 53.60, while Valleau placed fifth with a time of 53.60
• Egger placed third in the 500 yard free with a time of 5:36.15
• The relay team of Tibbetts, Roberts, Weaver, and Edward David (Englewood, Fla.) placed fourth in the 200 yard free relay with a time of 1:39.38

Women's Meet Highlights:

• The relay team of Tamra Miller (South Thomaston, Maine), Kaitlyn Reny (Lewiston, Maine), Milo Cook-Sharp (Cape Elizabeth, Maine), and Amber Durant (Mansfield, Mass.) placed 12th in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 2:15.36
• Miller placed sixth in the 50 yard back with a time of 34.72
• Cook-Sharp placed 10th in the 50 yard breast with a time of 38.82, while Reny placed 11th with a time of 38.89
• Reny placed 12th in the 100 yard free with a time of 1:04.68
• Miller placed 11th in the 100 yard breast with a time of 1:30.22, while Audrey Aragon (Miami, Fla.) placed 12th with a time of 1:31.56
• Cook-Sharp placed 15th in the 50 yard fly with a time of 32.34
• The relay team of Cook-Sharp, Aragon, Reny and Miller placed 10th in the 200 yard free relay with a time of 1:58.91

The Mariners return to action on Friday, November 15, when they travel to take one St. Joseph's College of Maine at 5:00 PM.
