NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Maine Maritime Academy men's swimming and diving lost their season opener to Norwich University 182-80, on Saturday afternoon at Goodyear Pool.
Meet Highlights:
- Relay team of Cameron Sprott (Hampton, Va.), John Beres (Seattle, Wash.), Ryan Maher (St. Helens, Ore.), and Jace Chouinard (North Fort Myers, Fla.) took second place in the 400 yard medley relay (3:57.49)
- Aidan Walls (LaGrange, Ill.) placed third in 1000 yard free (11:43.82)
- Chouinard placed second in the 200 yard free (1:53.62)
- Carson Trout (League City, Texas) took first overall in the 50 yard back (26.94), while Sprott finished second (26.96)
- Beres placed fourth in the 50 yard breast (31.83)
- Trout finished second in the 50 yard free (23.27)
- Trout finished first overall in the 100 yard free (51.42), while Chouinard placed third (51.56)
- Sprott finished first in the 200 yard back (2:15.87)
- Walls placed third in the 200 yard breast (2:37.80)
- Maher finished second in the 50 yard butterfly (25.56)
- Relay team of John Markillie (Richland, Wash.), Trout, Patrick McEneaney (Suffolk, Va.), and Walls placed third in the 400 yard free relay (3:33.71)
