Box Score FARMINGTON, Maine – Maine Maritime women's soccer falls to UMaine-Farmington 2-1 on Saturday afternoon in a conference matchup.
How it Happened: McKenna Brodeur scored two quick goals for the Beavers at the end of the first half to give UMaine-Farmington a 2-0 led going into half time. Maine Maritime made a push at the end of the second half with a goal from Suzanne Wooldridge (Corona, Calif.) in the 86th minute to make the final score 2-1 in favor of the Beavers.
Inside the Numbers: The Mariners held a 10-5 advantage in shots and a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks over the Beavers. Bess MacArthur (Castine, Maine) made zero saves for Maine Maritime, while Callie Hammer tallied four saves for the Beavers.
