GORHAM, Maine – Maine Maritime women's soccer falls to the University of Southern Maine (USM), 2-0 Tuesday night in a non-conference matchup.

How it Happened: The Huskies got off to a quick start with a goal from Ciera Berthiaume in the eighth minute and a goal from Katie Lynch in the 13th minute to claim the 2-0 victory over the Mariners.

Inside the Numbers: The Huskies held a 21-2 advantage in shots and an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks over the Mariners. Bess MacArthur (Castine, Maine) tallied eight saves for the Mariners and Hunter Stonebraker recorded one save on the night for USM.

Up Next: The Mariners fall to 7-6 overall, while the Huskies improve to 10-2-3 overall. Maine Maritime returns to action on Saturday, October 23 at 12:00 pm when they host Husson University for senior day.
