BANGOR, Maine – Maine Maritime Academy men's swimming and diving competed in the Husson Relay Meet on Saturday morning at Webber Pool.
Men's Meet Highlights
- Relay team of Ryan Maher (St. Helens, Ore.), Jace Chouinard (North Fort Myers, Fla.), John Beres (Seattle, Wash.), and Carson Trout (League City, Texas) finished first in the 200 free relay (1:33.80)
- Patrick McEneaney (Suffolk, Va.), Chouinard, Cameron Sprott (Hampton, Va.), Maher placed first overall in the 200 fly relay (1:44.44), while Nicholas Been (Tacoma, Wash.), Sawyer Carson (Belfast, Maine), Michael Perreault (Saco, Maine) and Ponce Saltysiak (Bar Harbor, Maine) finished second (1:53.18)
- Trout, John Gilpin (Portsmouth, R.I.), Lincoln Graf (Searsmont, Maine), and Sprott finished first in the 200 back relay (1:48.26), while Oscar Gonzalez (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.), Been, Kyle Smit (Bainbridge Island, Wash.), and Tyler Resendes (Westport, Mass.) placed third (2:09.44)
- Relay team of Griffin Erb (Bangor, Maine), Aidan Walls (LaGrange, Ill.), McEneaney, and Beres took first in the 200 yard breast relay (2:09.92)
- Sprott, Maher, Chouinard and Trout placed first in the 400 free relay (3:27.31), while Walls, Erb, Gilpin, and Beres finished third (3:38.09)
Women's Meet Highlights
- Relay team of Zayna Dickson (Urbandale, Iowa), Eva Schulz (Evergreen, Colo.), Sam Durkin (Green Lane, Penn.), and Megan Durrua (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.) set a new school record in the 200 free relay placing second (1:52.70)
- Milo Cook-Sharp (Cape Elizabeth, Maine), Lisa Zhukov (Barrington, R.I.), Durkin, and Kaitlyn Reny (Lewiston, Maine) placed third in the 200 fly relay (2:07.32)
- Relay team of Zhukov, Dickson, Roxanna MacGregor (Eastport, Maine), and Cook-Sharp finished fourth in the 200 back relay (2:12.84)
- Durrua, Cook-Sharp, Ellie Gellerson (Blue Hill, Maine), and Reny placed third in the 200 yard breast relay (2:29.73)
- Zhukov, Durrua, Schulz and Dickson placed fourth in the 400 free relay (4:17.21)
Mixed Highlights
- Mixed relay team of Walls, Durrua, Cook-Sharp, and Sprott placed second in the mixed 400 relay 4 x 100 IM (4:27.37)
- Sprott, Durrua, Maher, and Dickson finished second in the mixed 200 medly relay (1:57.74)
