BANGOR, Maine – Maine Maritime men's swimming fell to Husson University 142-137 on Friday night in a conference matchup.
Men's Meet Highlights:
• Relay team of Cameron Sprott (Hampton, Va.), John Beres (Seattle, Wash.), Ryan Maher (St. Helens, Ore.), and Carson Trout (League City, Texas) finished first in the 200 Yard Medley Relay (1:47.79)
• Patrick McEneaney (Suffolk, Va.) placed second in the 1000 Yard Freestyle (11:20.94), while John Markillie (Richland, Wash.) took third (11:29.99)
• Griffin Erb (Bangor, Maine) finished third in the 200 Yard Freestyle (2:04.65)
• Sprott finished first in the 100 Yard Backstroke (1:00.07, while Jace Chouinard (North Fort Myers, Fla.) placed second (1:00.34) and Maher took third (1:03.21)
• Beres placed second in the 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:10.10), while Aidan Walls (LaGrange, Ill.) took third (1:12.85)
• John Egger (Marion, Mass.) finished first in the 200 Yard Butterfly (2:25.20), while Nicholas Been (Tacoma, Wash.) placed second (2:35.69).
• Trout took second in the 50 Yard Freestyle (23.04)
• Zack Wellman (Bangor, Maine) took second in the 1Mtr Diving (114.00)
• Maher finished second in the 100 Yard Freestyle (52.61), while Sprott placed third (54.16)
• John Gilpin (Portsmouth, R.I.) took first in the 200 Yard Backstroke (2:26.80), while Markillie placed third (2:11.93)
