CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime men's swimming beat the University of New England, 183-55 on Saturday afternoon.
Highlights:
• Relay team of Lincoln Graf (Searsmont, Maine), Ponce Saltysiak (Bar Habor, Maine), John Markillie (Richland, Wash.), and Jace Chouinard (North Fort Myers, Fla.) finished first in the 400 Yard Medley Relay (3:59.43)
• Graf placed first in the 200 Yard Freestyle (2:00.54), while Saltysiak took second (2:02.21) and Cameron Sprott (Hampton, Va.) finished third (2:05.89)
• Chouinard took first in the 100 Yard Backstroke (1:00.32), while John Gilpin (Portsmouth, R.I) finished second (1:03.29)
• Aidan Walls (LaGrange, Ill) took second in the 50 Yard Breaststroke (33.23), while Sprott placed third (34.00)
• Chouinard finished second in the 100 Yard Butterfly (1:02.59), while Sawyer Carson (Belfast, Maine) took third (1:03.70)
• Markillie finished first in the 50 Yard Freestyle (23.66), while Gilpin placed second (25.92)
• Zack Wellman (Bangor, Maine) took first in the Men 1mtr Diving (109.28)
