How it Happened: The Beavers came out strong in the first half, scoring a goal within the first 15 minutes of play by Zach Chaisson, assisted by Yusuf Mohamed to make the score 1-0. That score held through halftime. The Mariners had a couple opportunities to score in the second half but just couldn't connect.
