CANTON, N.Y. – Maine Maritime Academy women's cross country was represented by two runners at the 2022 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championships, hosted by SUNY Canton.

How it Happened: Senior
Milo Cook-Sharp (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) finished 23rd in the 57 runner field, with a time of 28:40.2 and senior
Sarah Smith (Kirkland, Wash.) finished 38th, with a time of 31:51.6.

Inside the Numbers: Husson University claimed the 2022 NAC Women's Cross Country Championship, finishing with a team score of 37 and total time of 2:07:16, SUNY Delhi finished second with a team score of 38 and total time of 2:07:49, while the University of Maine at Farmington rounded out the top three teams with a score of 90 and a total time of 2:20:12. Delhi's Alexa Wolcott finished first overall with a time of 23:51.3 and Husson's Payton Goodwin and Ava Dowling finished second and third respectively, with times of 24:03.8 and 24:10.7.
