CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime men's swimming & diving competed against Husson University in a non-scoring meet for Senior Day.
Highlights:
• Relay team of Cameron Sprott (Hampton, Va.), John Markillie (Richland, Wash.), Sawyer Carson (Belfast, Maine), and Carson Trout (League City, Texas) finished first in the 200 Yard Medley Relay (1:49.56), while relay team of Ryan Maher (St. Helens, Ore.), Griffin Erb (Bangor, Maine), Tyler Resendes (Westport, Mass.), and Oscar Gonzalez (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) placed second (1:58.24).
• Ponce Saltysiak (Bar Harbor, Maine) took first in the 400 Yard IM (4:49.21), while Lincoln Graf (Searsmont, Maine) placed second (4:54.56).
• Trout took first in the 200 Yard Freestyle (1:58.73), while Maher placed second (2:01.18) and Carson finished third (2:10.08).
• Patrick McEneaney (Suffolk, Va.) finished first in the 50 Yard Breaststroke (31.38), while Markillie took second (32.63) and Sprott placed third (33.37).
• Kyle Smit (Bainbridge Island, Wash.) took first in the 50 Yard Backstroke (31.84), while Resendes placed second (34.02).
• Graf finished first in the 200 Yard IM (2:17.30), while Maher placed second (2:21.30) and Gonzalez took third (2:34.97)
• Erb took first in the 100 Yard Freestyle (53.17), while Resendes finished second 1:02.49).
• Markillie took first in the 100 Yard Backstroke (58.19), while Saltysiak finished second (1:02.16).
• McEneaney finished first in the 50 Yard Butterfly (26.60).
• Trout took first in the 50 Yard Freestyle (23.34), while Max Mattson (Blue Hill, Maine) finished second (25.46) and Smit placed third (26.10).
• Sprott took first in the 200 Yard Backstroke (2:16.29), while Gonzalez placed second (2:28.59).
• McEneaney placed first in the 100 Yard IM (1:00.84), while Graf finished second (1:02.45) and Sprott placed third (1:03.44).
• Relay team of Mattson, John Gilpin (Portsmouth, R.I.), Saltysiak, and Trout finished first in the 200 Yard Freestyle (1:37.93), while relay team of McEneaney, Maher, Resendes, and Markillie finished second (1:39.08).
