Men's Swimming & Diving Win First Ever NAC Championship!!!

BANGOR, Maine – Maine Maritime men's swimming won the first ever North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Swimming & Diving Championship on Sunday afternoon.

Highlights:
• Relay team of Cameron Sprott (Hampton, Va.), Ponce Saltysiak (Bar Harbor, Maine), John Markillie (Richland, Wash.), and Carson Trout (League City, Texas) finished second in the 200 Yard Medley Relay (1:44.97)
Patrick McEneaney (Suffolk, Va.) took first in the 500 Yard Freestyle (5:06.70), while John Beres (Seattle, Wash.) came in third (5:20.37)
• Markillie placed first in the 200 Yard IM (2:06.39), while Saltysiak finished second (2:12.12)
• Trout placed third in the 50 Yard Butterfly (25.12)
Jace Chouinard (North Fort Myers, Fla.) took first in the 200 Yard Freestyle (1:52.09), while McEneaney finished second (1:52.74) and Beres placed third (1:56.45)
• Saltysiak finished second in the 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:08.35), while Aidan Walls (LaGrange, Ill.) took third (1:11.46)
• Trout took second in the 50 Yard Freestyle (22.54)
• Chouinard placed first in the 200 Yard Backstroke (2:05.05), while Markillie placed second (2:05.94) and Sprott placed third (2:17.15)
• Relay team of McEneaney, Chouinard, Markillie, and Trout took first in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay (1:30.55)
• Relay team of Sprott, Beres, Markillie, and Trout finished second in the 400 Yard Medley Relay (3:54.64)
• Sprott placed first in the 50 Yard Backstroke (27.12), while John Gilpin (Portsmouth, R.I.) took second (29.41) and Oscar Gonzalez (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) finished third (30.84)
Griffin Erb (Bangor, Maine) took third in the 50 Yard Breaststroke (31.87)
• Trout finished third in the 100 Yard Freestyle (49.94)
• Mceneaney took second in the 200 Yard Breaststroke (2:24.96), while Beres placed third (2:29.58)
• Markillie finished first in the 100 Yard IM (57.49)
Ryan Maher (St. Helens, Ore.) took third in the 100 Yard Butterfly (58.85)
• Sprott finished second in the 100 Yard Backstroke (59.53), while Lincoln Graf (Searsmont, Maine) took third (1:00.47)
• Relay team of McEneaney, Beres, Walls, and Trout finished first in the 400 Yard Freestyle (3:24.02)
