Kali Barber (Tampa, Fla.) ended the quarter with a layup to give the Mariners a two point lead. The second quarter had similar action, favoring the Mariners who led by eight at one point and took a three point lead at the half.

Maria Barela (Albuquerque, N.M.) nailed two back-to-back threes to jump start a Mariner run in the second half. Maine Maritime continued building their lead, winning by seven points at the end of the third quarter. The Mariners dominated the fourth quarter, outscoring the Owls by ten to claim an 84-67 victory.
