BANGOR, Maine – Mariners volleyball stays perfect in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play with a 3-0 win over the Husson University Eagles, making them 8-0 in NAC Conference games.

The Mariners held the lead for the entire first set.
Sydney Williams scored points five and six for the Mariners. Williams also led all Mariners in kills with 15 total. To score points 24 and 25 of the set the Mainers had back to back blocks the first by
Sam Urch and
Hunnie Zuber-Stephens and the second by
Sam Urch and
Chloe Weeks. MMA won the set 25-14. In the second set, the Mariners went on a dominant eight point run.
Chloe Weeks earned three kills during this run. The Mariners won 24-25.
Katie Albritton led Maine Maritime in assists with 16. Albritton also assisted the first kill of the third set by
Ila Smith. After a back and forth battle the Mariners won the final set 25-17.

Janna Preskorn led the Eagles in kills ending with eight.

The Mariners take the court again on Saturday with games against the University of Southern Maine and Rhode Island College at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
