CASTINE, Maine – #1 Maine Maritime defeats #2 Husson University in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) semifinal matchup to advance to the NAC Championship on Saturday, February 25.
How it Happened: After a scoreless two minutes, the Mariners were able to take an 11-8 lead after the first quarter of play. The second quarter was more of the same action and
Evelyn Dagan (Castine, Maine) nailed a three to make the score 25-23 going into the half.
In the third quarter, the Mariners were able to keep their lead, taking a 37-35 lead at the end of the third.
Lauren Plissey (Hermon, Maine) made a layup to knot the game at 45 with three minutes left to go in regulation. The two teams then traded baskets and
Erianna Moore (Fitchburg, Mass.) sunk four free throws in a row to secure a Mariner victory.

- Plissey scored 13 points, five rebounds, three blocks, three steals, and one assist.
- Moore added 12 points, six rebounds, five assists, and two blocks.
- Bailey Donovan scored 14 points, a game-high 22 rebounds, and four blocks.
- Maine Maritime shot 30% from the floor and 20% from the three point line, while Husson shot 28.6% from the hardwood and 14.3% from three point land.
