CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime women's basketball beat UMaine-Farmington 78-49 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) matchup on senior day.

How it Happened: The Mariners started off strong in the first quarter, outscoring the Beavers 24-9 to set the tone for the rest of the game. In the second quarter, the Mariners continued building their lead, shooting 41% from the floor and 45% from beyond the arc, to increase their lead to 20.

The second half was more of the same action, as the Mariners take a 78-49 victory.

Inside the Numbers:
- Maria Barela (Albuquerque, N.M.) led the Mariners with 21 points, six rebounds, three assists, and one steal.
- Lauren Plissey (Hermon, Maine) added 16 points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
- Erianna Moore (Fitchburg, Mass.) chipped in 11 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and two steals.
- Maddy White had a game-high 23 points, while Jacqui Hamilton added 12 off the bench for the Beavers.
- Maine Maritime shot 42.4% from the hardwood and 32.3% from the three point line, while UMaine-Farmington shot 28.6% from the floor and 32.1% from three point land.
