How it Happened: The Beavers went on a 21-5 run in the first eight minutes of the game. They continued building on that lead in the rest of the first half, taking a 58-31 lead going into the half.

The second half was more of the same action, as the Beavers claim a 102-61 victory.

Inside the Numbers:
- Markus Ramirez (Colorado Springs, Colo.) recorded 12 points, three rebounds, and one assist.
- Malachi Reincke (Houston, Texas) also tallied 12 points off the bench, along with three rebounds, and one assist.
- Terion Moss had a game-high 28 points, while Nathan Poulin recorded 19 for the Beavers.
- Maine Maritime shot 35.8% from the hardwood and 34.5% from the three point line, while the Beavers shot 51.3% from the floor and 44.1% from three point land.
