CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime men's soccer team earned a 2-1 Sunday afternoon win over the University of Southern Maine.
Goal #1 (MMA 1-0): Maine Maritime got an early goal to start the game happening in the eighth minute. After a blocked shot from
John-John Dickenson,
Reuben Harrison was there to find the rebound and net the ball for the score, Dickenson earning the assist.
Goal #2 (MMA 2-0): In the 30
th minute,
Aiden Burr scored his first collegiate goal to extend the Mariner lead.
Reuben Harrison was credited the assist.
Goal #3 (USM 2-1): Near the end of the contest, Jack Brady scored a penalty kick for Southern Maine, earning them their solo point in the 86
th minute.
Notes
- Reagan Moynihan played the full 90 in net for the Mariners, ending with five saves.
- Patrick Mansir and Joshua Nagle split the time in net for USM, Nagle ending with three saves and Mansir with one.
- USM and MMA each ended the game with six goals on goal.
