Abby Wong Scores Two Goals in Women’s Soccer Win

CASTINE, Maine – Abby Wong scored not only her first collegiate goal, but two goals as women's soccer defeats Thomas College 4-2.
 
Goal #1 (MMA): The Mariners scored the first goal of the game 12:23 into the contest where Abby Wong searned her first collegiate goal and first goal of the night.
 
Goal #2 (MMA): Less than a minute later (13:18) Kirra Magaña netted a goal to give the Mariners a 2-0 lead.
 
Goal #3 (MMA): 21:01 into the contest MMA extended their lead when Taylor Webster had an amazing pass to get the assist on Delaney Ennis's goal.
 
Goal #4 (Thomas): Thomas scored their first goal of the night from Emily Wallingford on a penalty kick.
 
Goal #5 (MMA): The Mariners final goal of the night came from Abby Wong 77:15 into the contest, her second goal of the evening.
 
Goal #6 (Thomas): 81:24 into the game Thomas college scored their final goal on another penalty kick, this time from Aminah Davis-Macias.
 
Notes
  • Isa Thesing stayed in net all 90 minutes for the Mariners, having four saves.
  • Emilee Ireland spent the first half in net for Thomas having four saves and Emily Rock came in for the second half and finished with five saves.
