MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Erianna Moore secured a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds as the Mariners move to 3-0 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play and a 8-4 overall record downing SUNY Morrisville (4-12, 2-3) 77-63.
 
Maria Barela led the Mariners scoring 18 points with five rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
 
Evelyn Dagan opened up the contest with a three for the Mariners to take a quick lead. Morrisville responded with a three to tie the contest and Barela sunk a free throw for the Mariners to take a one point lead. The Mariners held onto the lead for the remainder of the contest to secure the win.
 
The Mariners had 10 different players score in the contest. Along with Moore and Barela, Dagan ended the contest in double digits with 17 points, including five threes.
 
The Mariners return to Smith Gym on Tuesday Jan. 16 at 5:30 pm against the University of Maine at Fort Kent.
