CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime Academy men's swimming and diving team defeated the Husson University Eagles at home with a final score of 157-117.
 
Men's Team Highlights:

• Carson Trout finished the 50 yard backstroke in 26.41 to earn first. Trout brought home another first place finish in the 100 yard freestyle (49.53). Trout earned another top finish in the 50 yard butterfly, touching the wall at 24.48.
• Jay Creegan earned the win in the 1000 yard freestyle (11:03.79).
• The Mariners earned two first place finishes from John Markillie in the 200 yard freestyle (1:49.77) and 200 yard backstroke (2:08.56).
• Aidan Burke added another first for the Mariners in the 50 yard breaststroke (29.18).
• Ponce Saltysiak placed first in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:26.83) and 200 yard IM (2:11.90).
• On the diving board, Oliver Cox placed third earning 153.30 points in the one meter dive.
