Box Score BANGOR, Maine--The Maine Maritime Academy women's soccer team couldn't generate much offense on Wednesday in a 2-0 defeat at the hands of host Husson University in a North Atlantic Conference East Division game at Boucher Field. The Mariners see their six-game unbeaten streak (4-0-2) snapped to fall to 7-5-3 on the season and 5-3-1 in the NAC-East, while the NAC East-leading Eagles improve to 9-7-1 overall and 7-1-1 in the conference.

- Lindsey Russell and Addi Laslie scored for the Eagles.
- Olivia Charle and Natalie Aviolla were credited with assists on Russell's tally.
- Hannah Kenney had one save and the defense earned the shutout.
How It Happened
- Russell scored on a low shot into the right-corner in the 24th minute.
- Laslie added an insurance goal in the 82nd minute. She tracked down a loose ball off a MMA turnover at midfield, dribbled into the penalty area and then cut to her right before rifling a shot into the upper-right corner under the crossbar.
- The Eagles outshot the Mariners 16-3 (11-1 in the first half) and also had a 6-4 edge on corner kicks.
- Maine Maritime was able to limit the HU offense to five shots in the second half, but couldn't sustain any pressure.
