SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Maine Maritime Academy men's wrestling team competed at the Springfield Technical Community College Northeast Duals.
 
The Mariners went 2-2 in the meet. MMA earned a 48-6 win over the University of Maine and a 35-24 victory over the University of Rhode Island. Maine Maritime's two loses came against Northeastern (25-24) and Springfield Technical Community College (42-22).
 
Some notable performances for the Mariners include Aidan Hashem who went 2-1. Marco Pantazopoulos went 2-2 and Connor Phelan went 2-0 in extra matches for MMA.
 
The Mariners next compete in the Henry Marsh Invitational hosted by the University of New Hampshire on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 10:00 am.
