BANGOR, Maine – Maine Maritime women's lacrosse fell to Husson University 15-12 in a North Atlantic Conference matchup to wrap up their regular season.

The Eagles were able to find the back of the net first with two goals to start the match, before
Bella Scolaro found
Lillian Diversi to put the Mariners on the board. Husson scored three more goals in the first half and
Hazel Stoddard and Diversi scored two more for the Mariners to make the score 5-3 in favor of the Eagles going into the second quarter. The Eagles were able to extend their lead in the second, scoring three goals, while
Aubrey Mitchell and Stoddard scored two for the Mariners. Maine Maritime entered the half down three.

The Mariners were able to cut into the Eagles led in the third quarter, outscoring them 4-3. In the fourth quarter, Stoddard scored two goals and Mitchell scored one to cut into the Eagles led but it was too little too late and the Eagles took a 15-12 win.

Husson outshot the Mariners 38-25 and held a 33-27 advantage in ground balls.
Ella Bowes made nine saves in 60 minutes, while Emma Begin also made nine in 60 minutes.
