LYNDONVILLE, Vt. — The Maine Maritime Academy volleyball team returned to North Atlantic Conference play on Friday evening, sweeping Vermont State University Lyndon 3-0 on the road.
Maine Maritime (18-8, 7-0 NAC) came out strong, cruising to a 25-7 win in the opening set and a 25-8 victory in the second to take an early 2-0 lead over VTSU Lyndon (3-21, 1-6 NAC). The Mariners sealed the match with a dominant 25-10 win in the third to remain unbeaten in conference play.
Junior
Ally Hadley led the way with 12 kills, while senior
Ila Smith added nine and senior
Sophia Biggie contributed seven. Senior
Bre Kerr served a match-high seven aces, with Hadley adding five and senior
Hunnie Zuber-Stephens chipping in four.
Zuber-Stephens also paced the offense with 30 assists, while sophomore
Hannah Tate collected 17 digs and freshman
Lauren Davis added five.
Maine Maritime closes out the 2025 regular season on Saturday at Vermont State University Johnson, with first serve scheduled for noon.
